Mirror wiring

I have a 93 but just installed 97 mirrors. I was wondering if anyone has done this cause I'm hoping to hook up the defrost on the mirrors. If any one has done this please send the info and maybe some pics of the wiring. Thanks in advance.

Thats why I'm doing this. I figured that if I'm in the woods i can fold them back and not worry as much. I found a guy that did an auto dim mirror and wired it up but nothing on these mirrors. I'd like to just wire the defogger to my rear defogger switch cause of the weather in Jersey.

Yep I did this years ago. Sadly I did on-the-fly over a weekend and didn't document anything I did.
getting heat was a piece of cake, I simply spliced into the existing rear winow defroster.
Electric up/down/left/right was more of a trial an error process. If you have a multimeter you could figure it out fairly easily.
Here's a page on the basic swap, but it doesn't cover the wiring.
