Default mini boatside pros an cons

Hello I was planning on doing a min boatside to my 96 cherokee and would like to hear what yall think. I am building this to be mostly a trail rig. I already have frame stiffeners and I was going to cut the rocker out back to the door seel and replace it with 2x6 3/16 wall then run 4 or 5 2x2 1/8 inch wall from there partially through the floor to the unibody frame rails and covering it with a 3/16 sheet. Also I have a 5.5 RE LA lift and the belly pan has the plates that run out to the pinch welds to help strenghthen it up in all if Im running the 2x2 from rails to the rocker gaurds do I really need them? Hope all this make sense, I would love to hear what everyone thinks and the pros and cons about all of this. THANKS again for the help in the past and in the future.

Cut out the sheetmetal and cut into the cab. The downriggers go into the cab.

From the front wheelwell

From inside the cab

Attach to the sheetmetal

Like this but with a 2x6 so i can run a exo to it later on
