Probably won't help, dude. We're not talking about a few little drops of condensation on the dipstick. Your weather is no more variable than mine is and neither of my Jeeps nor any of my other vehicles do that.

Get ready to ****** that engine out. The damage is already done. You're just kidding yourself.

Spark plugs gotta come out anyway before you send the engine off to be rebuilt.

No evidence of water under the valve cover.

Gonna check the compression in a few minutes. My tester is fubar, so I have to borrow the neighbors.

The skinny vacuum hose on the rear of the VC that goes to the Intake manifold was plugged solid. The air filter was also oily... not sure if they are related though.

Yep they're directly related. Vapors are supposed to be sucked out the rear hose, if it's clogged they hit your air filter lol

Given all the information provided by the OP so far, I think this recommendation is totally immatured and too dramatic, of course with all due respect. If it were me, I would rule out a few items before arriving at this conclusion. What is being suggested is absolutely the last resort after all tests have confirmed a fubar engine.

Yup that is why it is called crankcase ventilation. The blowby pressure had to go somewhere like the air filter. It was supposed to go through that skinny tube and into the intake to be burned.

Sometimes it is something more serious like a head or gasket leak allowing coolant in the oil but sometimes it's something as simple as your dipstick cap not fitting tightly and condensation forming in the dipstick tube and water getting in that way.

I already have $1600 in parts on the way from RockAuto and a machinist on retainer!

Pistons are in my kitchen sink!

Dammmit!

Not really.

I have dealt with a blown HG or two over the years and haven't had to change out all the bearings.

It is looking like this might just be due to weather and a zealous kid with a pressure washer.

No sign, whatsoever, of water on the top inside of the engine.

Compression test reveals 100-140 psi.

ETA: cold engine. spraying gasoline while cranking. Smelled like mothers kisses. (10% Ah/volume)

40 PSI difference between high and low cylinders is a little high.

100 PSI on at least 1 cylinder is low.

Assuming I'm interpreting your post correctly.

Water mixed with oil is a poor lubricant for the bearings.

if you dont suspect a head gasket... do an oil change and see if the problem comes back?

cracked head every valve rattles oil leaks every time

with that being said I'm a bow tie fanboi

let it sit overnight and loosen the oil pan drain plug. if you get coolant you have a problem. oil floats.
