metalic grinding noise only in 4x4
hey im new to this site i need some help somewhat narrowing this problem down, i have a 93 jeep cherokee country automatic that in 4x4 makes this metalic grinding noise that is consistant with the vehical speed, note that i just got a new transfercase a week ago all is fine with that, so what could it be? in 2wd it does not do the noise or is just to faint to hear over the magnaflow and engine sounds.any help would would be great thankyou i should mention that the front drivshaft has that constant velosity u joint thing with the two u joint

well i took it back to the shop they checked the tc only and said its operating fine, before the tc i never put it in 4wd because everytime i did the tc would not engage so im not sure if it did make the sound before, it sounds like its coming from the front drive shaft but upon inspection there is no shiny metal spots and the u joints seem to be fine other than they could be dry i bought the car off a guy who spoke little english so no real talk on the why he got rid of it.
