I dont have my jeep with me this week and need some measurements. What is the distance from the bottom edge of the rocker to the pinch welds, and to the frame rails? thanks guys!! on a 99 if that matters....

you fabbing your rock rails this weekend or what? i would go measure for ya but its dark outside already. go find an xj in the walmart or grocery store parking lot and measure it up! lol

 

yep my uncle needs the measurements to go buy materials....

 

i would order probably around 20 feet of material. just a rough guess. thats probably one full stick of what you are going to be using. but i dont know. 1/4 plate would be nice and some grade 8 bolts. probably 1/2 or so i would imagine

 

3" rocker to pinch 8.75" from pinch to frame rail total tenth
of rocker 5' 2' off a 91 xj

better double check that. 2 doors have longer front doors. i think both 2 and 4 doors have the same WB. please correct me somebody if im wrong.

 

its 66 and 1/4" give or take a 1/2"

 

Just bought the materials and took all the measurements for my rockers today. Here's a link to my build thread with the post. Note this is on a 94 4door Cherokee and the rock rails will be roughly 65" long. https://www.cherokeeforum.com/showth...?t=4784&page=4


Also, yes a 2 door Cherokee has a slightly shorter wheelbase than a 4 door model.
