Maybe the PCM
(2001 xj classic)I know it is rare for a PCM to fail but it’s still in question. I’m getting a P0601 code. A couple days prior the jeep stalled and had “No Bus” on the cluster. I got it towed and ran the codes the no bus has went away for now but now I have a memory module checksum code. The tps and cps went out and replaced those. Now im stumped on what else could be the issue on why the p0601 code is still active.

A P0601 (PCM checksum error) paired with your earlier "No Bus" issue and sensor failures suggests a failing PCM while rare, it’s likely the culprit since you’ve already replaced the TPS and CPS. Before condemning it, double-check all grounds and wiring for corrosion or damage, and if possible, swap in a known-good PCM to test; if the code persists, you’ll need a replacement. These symptoms especially after electrical gremlins often point to a PCM on its way out.
