Master rebuild kit from offroadoutpost
Hey guys and gals, I was just looking around the internet for a good gasket rebuild kit for the 96 sport, when i came across this master rebuild kit.

I was mainly interested in a new lower gasket (replacing a leaky one) and an oil pump while i was in the area. I had some random misfires lately and strange oil pressure when warm(Dropping pressure). Im over 160k on miles and feel like its finally time to give it the big tune. I have not seen any reviews on this "kit" and have no idea on the quality of the products described. I was looking to see if anyone else has purchased and used these parts and if Its something I should be looking into, or scrap that kit idea and try something else. If anyone has a recommended brand/website/parts I would like to check it out as well. Thanks everyone!

I wouldn't touch it unless you can verify the parts included are from a respected manufacturer. Looks like they are all 'no name'.
What is your oil pressure dropping to when warm? That's pretty normal, within certain limits.

I agree too much crap on the market that is really junk. When it comes to gaskets and engine internals I feel its just plain foolish to buy the best because of the labor factor. It takes the same amount of time to put in junk as it does quality parts.
Gaskets I buy local because if I get one that is a bit messed up I can take it back to the parts store and return it. For stock engines and a few race items all I use are Fel Pro and they have different quality sets.

The oil drops to about 20. running on the road and freeway its at a steady 40. also, i dont seem to have an oil leak unless i run it for about an hour. I just took a few pictures and was going to throw up another post and see what everybody thinks
