Hey guys
I got a problem that started last night...here goes
the rear and front marker light, dash lights, and shift and 4wd indicator light all stay lit after the ignition is shut off, whether I turn off the headlight switch before or after the jeep is shut off. They will stay on when I pull the park lt fuse and dash ind fuses but they will go off when the dome fuse is pulled. I dont want to drain the battery so the dome fuse is out.
what is weird is that with the dome fuse out...when I pull the headlight switch to parking setting they will come back on and the radio and clock will work and reset for when I drive it
everything works properly, it is just that the lights will stay on constantly
anyone ever had this problem because looking in my haynes manual the wiring for all those systems coincide through the headlight switch so I am going to change that first and see what happens

Well tried the switch and it didnt work

so it looks like i have a short somewhere

anyone who has had this same problem could give a little info it would be helpful for where to start
