Default Manual Window regulator Question

I have a 95 Sport. The manual dvr/frt regulator is slipping, ( ratcheting sound ) the handle is good. Probably can't be fixed...right? I was wondering if someone knew if a lft rear window reg would work in its place or do I have to find a dvr/frt unit? SOLVED

I have the same issue, bought a new window regulator, went to install and that's when I ran into some problems. Did you replace your window regulator or fix the old one? My main question is how did you remove the bolt (torx head) that attaches the window to the regulator?

In my manual is says there is a spring mechanism or something in the bolt that holds the window to the regulator? Is there a special tool to hold it from the backside? Let me know if you need any clarification. Thanks in advance.

I talked with a window repair guy and he says that there is a spanner wrench that goes in there and holds it while loosening the torx bolt. I just held mine with a channel locks. Try that and let us know how it works for you.
