i am sure it is fine to get
honestly i would just weld it up, throw a little bracing on it. I did that to mine and nothing has happened to it ever since! (3 years now) best part is it is free if you have a welder or know someone who does, if not most exhaust shops may not even charge you, or it may be like $20-$30 at most
