making a clanking sound

Default making a clanking sound

My 96 xj sport is making a cilking sound when i take off and when I gas in a turn.it sounds like its coming from inbetwen motor and transmission. Thanks for your help

Bad U-joint in the front could do that. Jack it up in 4 WD and rotate the front wheel back and forth and look for play. Good luck!

Went to my frends shop he thinks its the transfer case we will no tomaro when he puts it on the lift. Thinks for you help

Okee Dokee . My U-Joint "crackeled" when I turned. Would be a little odd for a transfer case. Maybe the front differential though. D.
