From an increased power perspective, is it worth it? I'm trying to help out my 2.5. Thanks.

Are you talking about a catallitic convertor or cat back system? If your talking about the convertor then its not bad. I just put 1 on my XJ. Its a little louder than stock , but that could be because I have a catback highflow system also. The cats are cheapest at Summit Racing .Autozone and Advanced are a lot more expenssive for crappy cat. Just my opinion.

A whole system (header back) will help a little bit. Even more if you get a Cold Air Intake.

But there's only so much you can do with that little motor.

On the other hand, you could go bum a 150 Shot of Nitrous off of some one and you're little motor will be nice and fast, at least for a couple seconds, lol, then it will never run again!
