well the post is kinda cloudy but if its the control arm that broke then replace the arm if its the bracket on the axle grind it flush and weld a new bracket in place

sorry about that. it was early in the morning. it was the bracket that broke. where can you get a new bracket and how do you know where it is supposed to be positioned on the axle?

i was told that most all 4.0 auto cherokees were 3:55 gears. i dont have abs on my jeep. will this cause a problem? im sure the new one has it but mine dont.

its not going to hurt it just remember what it was from for part # reasons. the axles near the hub are longer due to the sensor.
and swaping gears is fine just remember u have to take the ring gear andi forget what its called but the part the yoke is on is also a gear.
