Just wondering if the lower control arm body mounts on a 98 xj are supposed to have a hole or a slot mine are sloted but it don't seem right because they would move back and forth I plan on replacing the bushing because they started clunking and I can't stand it

So when I replace the bushings do I need to adjust the bolts my bother had a 95 xj and i think he just had a hole there not slotted. also any recomendations on bushings i have read that the rough country one are junk and ill have to replace them again in a couple weeks/months any tips
you need to see what your caster is like if you need to adjust them or not.
as for bushings i say pull the junk RC arms off sell them and get a better LCA, wither RC flex, IRO clayton, ect poly bushing short arms dont flex
