Default lower control arm mounts

Just wondering if the lower control arm body mounts on a 98 xj are supposed to have a hole or a slot mine are sloted but it don't seem right because they would move back and forth I plan on replacing the bushing because they started clunking and I can't stand it

yes the are supposed to have the slot see the 2 screws on the back of it those are used to adjust your LCAs to set your caster on the axle

you need to see what your caster is like if you need to adjust them or not.

as for bushings i say pull the junk RC arms off sell them and get a better LCA, wither RC flex, IRO clayton, ect poly bushing short arms dont flex
