Excellent advice.

Mine keeps flashing, yet I have over half a tank.

Gonna disconnect it next time I am under the hood working.

Pull the sensor from the tank and clean it.

It should be the same as the low coolant sensor on alot of cars, they can get crap on the tip of them and send a false reading.

You don't even need to pull the sensor. Just pull off the connector and maybe zip tie it to something so it isn't flopping around in there. And you're done

I was thinking ur you cleaned the sensor and re installed it, it would still work. Nuthin worse than hittin some mud and realizing your squirter juice is empty!

Disconnected the sensor and worked like a charm, but I am going to try to clean out because your right being in the woods with no wash fluid would be bad. Thanks for all the suggestions!

You have no choice but to clean it. With the tank buried in the fender well you can't see the level.

I had my 95 do the same thing. The float was so full of crud it would just sink and give the signal that it was empty. Like said above I just unplugged it at the tank.
