Low voltage reading, error 41
Hey,
i have a 93 jeep cherokee. Today the check engine light came on and the voltage gauge is reading about 10v. Checked the engine codes and get code #41.
The jeep runs fine however, and measuring voltage at the battery with a volt meter, everything checks out, over 12 with the engine off and over 14 with the engine running. Driving the vehicle the gauge holds steady at around 10v and the check engine light stays on, turning on the lights/radio etc does not seem to be a problem. I replaced the alternator about 2 months ago so its fairly new.
any thoughts?

Replace the alternator, it will crap out on you when you least expect it. I know it's new, but even new puppies die.
