Low voltage/ loses power at idle.

I have a problem. Recently i noticed when i was idling the check guages light came on. Then one day i had the air all the way up and i lost everything dash and including the radio. So i figured it was the alternator. Took it in got it checked everything passed. All the grounds look fine. What could it be. I was told the voltage regulator. And that is in the computer/ECM. So before i spend 400$ on a ECM, is there anything else i could do. Could i find another ECM off a wreck with the same part number?

Did you have your battery checked? I would try that.

the same happened to me.I went to a shop and they installed me an external voltage regulator. $60 parts and labor. it works. electromechanics know about them

so they installed another one. I thought there was one in either the alternator or the ECM. Cuz i tried the ECM, it didnt work.

ps nice jeep its exactly like mine
