Low temp, No heat

Low temp, No heat
'92 XJ 4.0, Tem Gage barely moves, vary little heat or defrost, fans work fine,
Has new radiator, hoses, thermostat, water pump.
It has been cold here in Oregon, but even when it gets up to around 60 it still has this problem.
any help?

its one of these two things
either u bought a bad thermostat and it was stuck open when u bought it
(yes it does happen and often)
or u need to check ur temp switch its the sending unit at the back of the block. it could just be unpluged check it to see and then just go buy a new one its only like 12 bucks or so
i just had this same problem and turned out it was just unplugged
