Default Low pinion to high pinion swap question

OK, so I swapped out my low pinion dana 30 for a high pinion dana 30 this past weekend. Has anyone had a drive shaft length issue after doing this? When the suspension was nearing full droop, the drive shaft was completely collapsed and couldn't get any shorter. Do i need to also get a front driveshaft from a pre-99 XJ?

More than likely, unless you are adding some lift.

Hmm...I will be doing this shortly and am sitting around 5" of lift. I haven't heard of the front driveshaft length being a problem???

My jeep is currently sitting on a 3.5" RE superflex kit. I was thinking that by going from low pinion to high pinion it would actually put the driveshaft back to the stock location. Does anyone have any actual measurements comparing the front DS for a low pinion and a high pinion?
