i have a 93 xj 4.0 ho that has low oil pressure and a delay when i turn the key off. untill its really warm. as long as i have good oil pressure it has a delay but any psi below 15 it doesnt have a delay any ideas on what could cause the delay and low oil pressure was told rod bearings or cam bearings for pressure. dont really know about the delay. oh and when i got it i had the worst sludge problem im thinking it hurt the internals a wee bit

 

any repair done lately

 

Not a Dang thing been to busy working thinkin bout taking the head all apart and checking for sludge in all the oil passeges

 

unhook the switch see if shutting down issue stops step 1

 

The sending unit? Or what switch
