Have you adjusted your speedo for larger tires? If not there's your problem. Remember K.I.S.S

i would try a seafoam treatment/injector cleaner.
they also sell oil additives that "renew" an engine. it takes the place of a quart of oil.
all are things to look into as well as lightening up on the pedal a little.

with 31's alot of people recommend 4.10 gearing.

good luck man
Well I recently had pinholes break loose on my tank. After draining and repairing it I put one gallon in it to get me to the gas station. I was skeptical of the repair so I only put 4 gallons in it and the gas light was still on. With this being said my 95 xj still has around 5 gallons in it once the gas light comes on. My advice would be to keep a gallon jug with you and run it empty, full it up and run empty again an then you'll have your exact fuel mileage

4 (space) 3.5
____* ______ <-- Ignore the "(space)" I needed to make space to make this an equality.
x (space) 150

600 = 3.5x

171.4 = x

So in my Jeep 150 = 170 "actual" mile

So 170/15 = 11.3

So right now I'm getting about ~11 mpg.

Now yes all of these numbers are round, and I'll post back when I get my actual numbers.
SO Just filled up and I got exactly 11 mpg.
(17.98 gal, 196.6 (actual)miles)

Which actually isnt that bad, because reticently before the lift I was down to 12 mpg.

So when I got my Jeep I was getting almost 18/20 city, in may. Added a roof rack in june, went down to 16ish city. Then randomly I dropped to 12/14, like septemeber ish? (once it started getting cold here) And now I'm at 10/11 from the lift.
I know I will never get back the 4/5 ish mpg I lost from the lift/rack. But I would rather be getting 15/16 mpg than 10. Any ideas?

-almost 200k on her (possible rebuild)
-new 703's
-new fuel pump
-new plug/wires/cap/etc

^^ these are the basics you should do. Also, check for exhaust leaks or a clogged or faulty cat. That can also cause it. I have a 5 in lift with 33" tires, stock 3.55s and I get about 11. But my cat is broken and I've got a nice sized hole in my muffler. Just put in new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, bored throttle body, tps, fuel filter, and 703 injectors. So far, those repairs haven't made any noticeable difference to mpgs. I have a feeling I won't see a huge improvement till I do the entire exhaust system

So, I changed all four of my wheel bearings and front U-joints. I knew the front needed work but the rears were bad too. Noticing a significant difference. Rolling much smoother now.

No but saving some cash on gas money is extra money you can spend on 'upgrades'

I did U joints recently & rear oxygen sensor & my mileage improved about a mpg roughly. I did u joints because I was feeling resistance when free rolling. Sensor just went bad & kicked engine light on. I am a moderate driver & get about 18mpg with a 5 sp. 98 that I warm up in mornings to get heat going & spend a fair amount of time in traffic. Have never checked highway mpg yet but will soon.

This is gonna sound like a dumb question, but how do exhaust leaks impact mileage? Replacing and changing filters, plugs, etc, all makes sense, but exhaust? Just to put in my two sense, I get about 15 mpg. I have stock everything, 203K, 235/75/15's and a ****load of tools in the back (75-85lbs). I'm 16, so I definitely don't drive like a granny....
