Any reason why i'm getting a diesel engine/airplane takeoff sound under increasing revs/acceleration while the AC is on? especially loud in gears 1+2 before up shifting and then it quiets down a bit. increases in intensity as the revs go up. Once we've settled into gear on the freeway it's not really an issue but maybe here and there. No other problems really it's been doing it since i got the damn thing. I've replaced the fan clutch with stock (napa) and replaced the electric fan, just some PM. I figured it was normal, just a jeep thing, but I have a buddy who said his just started doing this after 100k miles but before it didn't happen. not sure if the issue is the same but the description was similar.

Have you looked at the A/C compressor to see if the noise is coming from it . or is the belt on the loose side and making the noise .
