Loud Driving noise while accelerating 20 thru 45mph
I've replaced bearing front and back drained carrier put new oil in it. Still getting this loud accelerating noise that starts around 20mph and quites down after 55 60mph the noise stops when I let off the petal but will come back as I brake and slow down but while driving I can control the sound with the petal. Loudest around 40-50. Saw a post that sounded similar to mine but chalked it up to the transfer case which I don't have? Being rwd
wondering if I should be concerned with my transmission. Worst nightmare just bought this jeep hoping it's not a lemon.

After doing some research and shaking the driveshaft a little , I think this is probably bad Universal Joints. May not be the whole problem but probably needs to get done. The transmision has some leaking as you can see in the photos i wonder if the ujoints have already done some damage. Next on the todo list!

I know it's late but did you have any luck with the noise? I'm having the same issue and haven't found it yet. Wasn't the U-Joints since I changed those. Transfer case fluids seemed good as well. Rear diff had milky oil but I changed that.
