Loss of power/ RPM goes low

Loss of power/ RPM goes low
My jeep tends to loose power at times. The RPM goes low all of a sudden and i press the accelerator and it goes back to normal. Then when it on drive and i am on a complete stop, the rpm starts raising, and if i shift to neutral and it does the samething, what can it be or where can i start looking
