loss of power with no loss of power?

loss of power with no loss of power?
So i went out to my cherokee the other day and the battery was dead, so i went and bought a new one so on and so fourth. i have noticed recently that my AMP gauge will jump around a little bit and i hear my serpentine belt squeak a little bit. you truly notice it when i come to a complete stop and make a turn...she never looses power completely but you can tell it sorta "dims" down if you will

X2, check the belt. If you hear it and it gets worse when it also has to work PS pump, that's almost it for sure. I keep mine just barely tight enough.
