My 98 is having a strange but very worrying issue where it will “seemingly” lose spark on what feels like half the motor, rpm drops to 300, blue smoke out the back, and dead in middle of road with NO CODES. starts fine if you shut it off but it runs rough. TPS (walker)
IAC (walker)
cap, (OE)
rotor (Elgin)
wires (OE)
Plugs (NGK iridium premium)
coil pick up (MOPAR)
ignition coil (MOPAR)
CPS (MOPAR $200)
fixed a few ground wires that looked suspect
fuel pump (Delphi)
checked all fuses, relays, and checked for issues with ASD, other important relays
upstream O2 (NTK factory replacement)
Downstream O2 (NTK 23099)

Next is the PCM

I’ve tried all avenues outside of the dealer but it seems all 3 times it’s happened, it’s been under load around 2k rpm. Just a sudden loss of all power and dead in the road. Trailer it home, and runs fine. I’m thinking a ground somewhere isn’t happy but I can’t find it if there is. ZERO CODES are being thrown, I’ve scanned it several times. I need help guys. I love this thing. And after combing the forums for what seems like months, I can’t figure it out. All help is welcome and very much appreciated.
