Default At a loss. Please help.

Often times I can simply diagnose issues with my '96 Cherokee but tis seems to elude my remdial knowledge.

My tachometer has started to flutter quite dramatically. I checked my transmision fluid to see if that was an issue. It was fairly low, I filled it up, nothing changed. Now my car has begun lurch two or three times when accelerating to freeway speeds. So, I put in some Lucas, replaced some corroded plugs, tach is still fluttering above ten mph erratically, and my car is still lurching two to three times consecutively when accelerating (it's only oe episode whe accelerating, but lurches those times in one episode, if that makes sense).

I have no idea what this problem could be. Transmission? Rear dif? Fuel filter? plugs? Im at a loss and all of you are always so instrumental in helping me. Thank you.

Next time it happens keep your right foot on the gas and use your left to gently pull up on the brake pedal.
The power for the TCC Solenoid goes through the brake switch. Step on the brake, power is cut and the torque converter unlocks. If your switch isn't adjusted properly....

Lock, Unlock, Lock, Unlock.
