Can any one tell me the differenc between a cherokee, a loredo or an xj.

Cherokees are XJs, a Laredo is just an option package

 

what year jeep ?

 

xj is the model designation by jeep for the cherokee Laredo is the a trim level offered on the cherokee

 

its a 91. I bought it for 100 bucks and needs some work but the 4x and tranny run quite well and the motor was a rebuild and has 50,000 on it and runs great. Starts right up and idles well. Its just that the steering column was busted and the new used one didnt have a key and I need to replace it.

most auto part store should be able to get a new ignition with keys for you,or you can try www.TeamCherokee.Com

 

oh yea kragen has them in stock, I just cant seem to figure out how to get the old one out.
