Loose steering wheel AFTER gearbox seals and steering dampner replaced
had a buddy of mine replace all of my gearbox seals. Only 2 were leaking but what the hell right? Also replaced the steering stabalizer. I pick up my jeep (2000 cherokee) and the steering wheel now all of a sudden has quite a bit of play now. My bet is something is loose in the gearbox that he may have just didnt tighten, but could anyone tell me exactly what? Or thier best guess since thesteering wheel wheel was fine prior to the gearbox seals replacement and now its suddenly loose after the seals have been replaced.
