Default loose steering...

hi again all, i got another question for you. About 2 weeks ago while checking my fluid levels, my power steering fluid level was way low. So i got it where it should be and went about my business. Since then it seems like my steering is getting really loose. today on the 30 minute drive home from work. i got off the freeway, and had to check and see if i had a tire going flat. the front was real loose. it was almost like, a little turn of the steering wheel went a long way.

I looked at my shocks, and springs, they look ok. nothing under the jeep looks broken. the bushings look old...
but i don't really know where to go from there. what do i need to start looking at or just start replacing?

thanx for any help?

Climb under the front end and have someone turn the wheel back and forth about 1/3 see what moves before the tires do

there is a write up some where about adjusting play in steering box if needed, need allen wrench and break loose lock nut and adjust till there is only about 1-2 inches play, if that is the problem,
but i would check the linkage first, lift one side up at time leaving one tire on ground at timeand rock 9-3 for tie rods and 12-6 for ball joint, on the side lifted
