I have a '96 XJ and am looking for the panel that bolts on under the filler neck. Mine is rotten and am about to replace the package tray and wanted to get this too. Anyone know the nomenclature of this part? Where to get a replacement? Also is there a place to purchase the power connectors that were used on the OEM fogs? Have a new set coming and want to use that style and not just cut the ends off. Thanks for your time.

 

If you are talking bout the panel that bolts under the filler neck (Under the Jeep), up to 1996 it was called a Splash Shield, part number 55003285. After 1996 it was/is called a Heat Shield, part number 55003285AB.

Dealer part, or from a MOPAR on-line parts supplier.

I think I bought the last one known to man about two years ago.



No idea about the connectors you're looking for.
