Default locked keys in XJ; break in ideas??

So while working on the cherokee last night I locked my keys in. My spare is no where to be found. Does anyone have a method for breaking in? I'd rather not break a window. Can I fashion some sort of slim jim?

Wire hanger, just find a diagram of where the link rod is so your not fishing in the wrong spots.

I'd spend the 20 or so bucks and just have someone do it. Most towtrucks do it alot less than the the unlock places.

IMO covering one of the wing windows with duct tape and smashing it is the easiest. You can get a new window for like 15 bucks at the JY and it only takes like 30 mins to replace.

Or you can open it in 10 min and not break/replace anything for the same price.

if you have a water bag thingy you know the ones you put on ur head anyway attach a hose to it slide the bag between your door and the body, put it on the top of the door best place, slowly fill the bag until youy can slide a coat hanger and hit the unlock switch or get the keys witch ever is closest it works really well

Heard of that before, we use the actual pump wedge.

wood wedge or pump wedge, both seem to work very well.

coat hanger and something to wedge between the body and door. Either fish for the link rod, or try and roll the window down with the coat hanger and some down force (try all 4 to get one in the right position to pull up on)

on my old 90 xj i had back in high school i used to lock my keys in there at least once a month till i finally learned...the molding on the back window can verrrry easily be pushed in at one of the corners with a flat head and then you finagle it up the window and along the side till the window comes right out...goes in the same way... just be easy with the molding because it can rip
