I have never heard of this. My drivers side door would not open. I figured one of the rods was off of the striker. I pulled the door apart and everything was attached. I figured the striker was gunked up. So I took it out and let it soak in parts cleaner. Once it was clean I dryed it off and put it all back together and greased it (white Lytheum grease). The door worked great until I locked the door. Then the striker would not work again. Long story short as long as I dont try to lock the door after I get it opened the first time it works great. Everything is hooked up and working correctly. Any advise?
