hey guys,

i just wired up my 97 XJ with a 7 blade round trailer adapter, but its just laying over by my spare tire, and i pull it out and let it hang out of the gate when needed.

i would like to fish the wires through the body and underneath the jeep and attacht he harness to a bracket next to my tow hitch to make it cleaner...

my question is where is the hole located on the cherokees with factory tow packages at so i can follow their guidelines to where to drill my hole at?

i know i can just make a hole somewhere by the left tail light and call it a day, but i just didnt know if there is a grommet somewhere on the floorboard back there i can squeeze through. thanks!

Behind the drivers side taillight. You have to pull the taillight and the interior panel to access it. Or you may be able to get at it just by pulling the taillight.

yeah, my wiring is behind the plastic panel at the back on drivers side. then the wire goes through the floor right behind the tail light.
