Does anyone have any tips on how to get the liquid line off?

Well, its either held on by a clamp, disconnect fitting, and or threaded together. Are we talking fuel line, transmission line, coolant line or any other line that has a wet substance in it?

Yeah, your going to have to be more specific, XJ's have a few liquids.

It's with the A/C...the Orifice Tube.

The AC lines fall under the threaded area of lines. So they just unbolt. On a side note it is illegal to vent the refrig coolant into the atmosphere. So make usre you have the system drained by a professional then have at it.
