So upon looking for the tag with the stock gear ratio on the rear D44 of my '87 XJ, I found another tag that said to "use limited slip diff fluid only". Now I got excited that I've been on LSD the whole time lol. So I jacked up the rear end and spun one side tire while in park. The opposite side spun in the opposite direction
and when I put it in neutral or drive and spin one tire, the opposite doesn't spin at all. What kind of issues am I dealing with? I'm hoping it's nothing too serious involving new gears (not just yet anyway, wallet won't allow) Thanks

This will give you a idea of what it takes to rebuild one http://www.therangerstation.com/tech...tionlock.shtml
