Lights issue! (PICS)
I have a 98 Jeep Cherokee and I've owned it for about 2 months.
So about a week ago I noticed when i turned on my normal night driving lights, sometime I needed to position the lights **** just right in order for them to turn on. Until one day in which they didn't turn on at all.
So I took off the dash and saw that the big plug behind my lights **** had a short or a power surge at one point and melted part of the plug and fried a wire. So I went to the junkyard and ripe out the female half of the plug and brought it home and put it in. It worked for a little bit but then stopped again. I can't swap out the male end of the plug because everything seems to be permanatly attached. The male prong that had the short of power surge or some is now loose, which is why sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. All the other males are secure and seem to work fine.
I want to know if someone has had this issue before or knows how I can replace that single male loose prong, or the whole male unit.
The front of the light ****.
The male prongs, the circled one is the one thats extremely loose.
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer. Lights are important!
