Should I be able to hook up stronger lights to the stock fog light wiring?

how strong? it is a good idea to set up the stronger lights on their own relay, because the stock wiring harness sucks. just to give you an idea, the previous owner hooked up just two lights (they were magnetic mounted 55w work lights) and just those caused all the grounds on the driver side to get so hot, the insulation melted right off. It was fun rewiring all of that.

Short answer, No.

like jakbob said, use a relay system and then you will be good to go.
