Default light problem

Hello, on my jeep i have a light problem, first of all i turn the lights on and sometimes after a while i hear a buzz/zap and the lights would turn off, and then they would either turn off or i would have to turn the switch back on to get them to work.
When i turn the car off the lights will stay on for a few seconds as well
Also when i flick to high beam the dash lights go off, i have not checked the outside parker lights yet but i imagine they go out aswell.
the parker switch also does not turn the dash lights on only the light switch will.
sorry if i have posted a common question, i am only new to jeeps and also i didnt no how to put it in search words.

You need to replace the light switch.

Exactly what i was thinking.

I recently had an issue with mine flashing on and off while driving as the switch heated up. Swapped it out and problem gone.
