so im going to be lifting my xj, id like to get a 3-3.5" lift. i have a budget of a little under 400. i looked at rustys 3" AAL and RCs 3" AAL series 2 and series 1, does anyone have any suggustions on wich one i should get? i want something that is complete where i wont need to buy anything else, also i am looking for something that has the best performance. if anyone has any other lift brands that are good that could be a option aswell. i am planing to do some light offroading. also i am going to be putting it in myself so any tips would help. its goin in a 98 xj.

A zone lift, made by BDS. i have the 4.5 inch lift, its an aal i use it as a daily driver and i do alot of offroading. but if your jeep has alot of rust i would also buy the shock adaptor kit because the heads on all the rear shock bolts snapped right off.

I have the rustys 3 inch with a full leaf pack and couldnt be happier. The only suggestion I have is to spray all bolts that will need to be taken out with PB blaster for 3 to 5 days before doing the lift. As in shock bolts, leaf spring bolts, all your front axle bolts like the control arms and what not. Thats what I did and managed not to break a single bolt. If you have trouble getting a bolt broken lose, spray it with more PB blaster and alternate between tightening and loosening the bolts to work the PB into the threads. Thats really the only advise you need in my opinion...

what exactly do i need for a 3" lift? i see some kits with brakeline extender, some with control arms, some with tcase drop, track bar. each kit comes with something different but none come with the same things (except for springs and leafs) and they all say they are complete kits. so what are they best things to have with a 3" kit
