Would anyone know how the rear liftgate ajar warning light works on 97-01 Cherokees. I took my plastic pannel of my 98 2 door [ manual locks, rear wiper, defrost ]. I found a wire that runs to the bottom of the gate handle...but have no idea what it's for. My warning light doesn't work if it even has 1.
