Lifted The Jeep More, Having Problems...
Ok, I have a 97 XJ that has a 3 inch pro comp lift kit, Aussie locker in rear 8.25. I added 2 inch shackles and 2 inch poly spacers, The pro comp lift came with new LCA's and they weren't parallel at all when i added two more inches so i bought the Rocky-Road CAD (Control Arm Drop) Kit. Maybe i should have just added longer adjustable control arms? After Install it was pulling to the right a little so i knew i needed an alignment. Before i did the alignment i was bored and decided to climb a tree, i got the front driver side tire about 2 ft off the ground and was backing down when the tire went to full lock to the left and the tires moved a little bit more but the steering wheel didn't move! So i drove down the road and it was pulling really bad to the right, i got on the freeway doing 65 and it was to the point that if i let go i would hit the wall within seconds. Looked at the tires and driver was facing left and passenger was facing right, alot. Got an alignment and it was going pretty straight down the road until i get to 50-65mph and it starts pulling to the right, when i put it in neutral it will pull to the right but not as much as when i am giving it gas. The locker in the rear didn't use to push the Jeep so hard to the right, are lockers supposed to push the car to the right when giving it gas? I've had many people look at it and they don't know what i should do. Do i need to upgrade my steering? Everything up front is stock except for the Adjustable Track bar. Any Comments, questions and links to what i should buy or do would be greatly appreciated, I just want the Jeep going down the road straight again without me using both hands to keep it on the road, it gets tiring....Its hard to drive....
THANKS!!
THANKS!!
