If I am going to run a 3in RC lift and add 2in spacers and shackles what backspacing should I get for the rims. I was thinking of running 33 12.5's. Theres a guy here that has some 33's but they are 16" and the rims im looking at only come in a 4" BS for a 16x8" rim. Is that enough?

 

the rims will not effect the total outside diameter of the tire, so search on here for other threads, there is o ne with pics of lifts with different tires, so plz use the search option first. thank you

 

ummmmmmm....Yes they will. A narrow rim will form a taller sidewall than a wider rim.

 

So if I get a 31 10.5 should I get a 8" rim and if I go with 33 12.5 should it be a 10" rim or is 8" ok? also is 4" BS too much or should I go with 3.75"

 

I run a 12.5 wide tire on an 8" rim. It's perfect for my needs.
