lift and tires
Hey guys not sure how a forum works but i have a few questions. I just picked up a 2000 jeep cherokee completly stock and was looking at putting just a 3.5" rubicon suspension lift on it. Do i have to do any mods like extend the drive shaft, or the brake lines? I was told i have to get a slip yoke eliminator and CV drive shaft. What do you guys think? Tire size is my next question, how big should i go? I was thinking 31" 10.5. Not sure tho. let me know and thanks for your time.

Ill answer even though this question is asked on a daily basis. You may need a sye ever jeep is different so you wont know till you lift it. The kit comes with exteded rear brake line and the fronts can be redrilled to work. 31's are what most people run with 3" if lift but it you trim the fenders you can fit larger.

Here is what I have.
RE6025 - 3.5" SuperRide kit with full leaf packs.
RE3715 - Upgraded my control arms to Super Flex adjustables. - (You don't need to do this, it was a personal preference)
RE1467 - 4* shim set
RE1600 - Adjustable track bar
RE1807 - SYE kit for my NP242 - (Yes, you definitely need to do an SYE)
RE1898-335 - CVF Driveshaft - (If you have a Chrysler 8.25 rear diff and an NP242-J TC, this is the shaft model you need)
OME-SD40 - Old Man EMU Nitrocharger Steering Stabilizer
OME-N36L - Old Man EMU Nitrocharger Rear Shocks
OME-N35L - Old Man EMU Nitrocharger Front Shocks
55200.6132 - 32 Tooth Speedometer Gear
For tires and rims I went with Nokian Vatiiva M/T 31x10.5R15 tires mounted on Core Racing Explorer Rims 15x8 with 3.75" backspacing.

With this kit, you will not need another thing. Out of the box, you are good to go.

I have the RE 3.5 lift and am running 31's That is about as big as you want to go with that lift. Inhard core offroading the 31's even come close to rubbing the wells if the wheels are turned hard

I did have to lower the transfer case 3/4 inch with Rustys spacers because I had some driveline vibration after the lift. This adjustment fixed it and the noise went away.

I agree, 31" tires are the perfect fit for the RE-3.5" kits. I don't have any rubbing either using stock backspacing. I had 3.75" backspacing on it until the cops warned me about my tires sticking out, with those I could see that they would come in contact with the fenders under full stuff. But once I mounted my 31s on my stock rims, I can stuff them without issues.
