yeah, i don't know why people diss rusty's. he puts out a good product, has a good warranty and great customer relations.
a couple buddies are running rusty's and won't use any other.
i have compared his control arms with my rubicon express, which is atleast twice the money and rusty's are twice the size. especially the upper control arms. they dwarf the R.E. stuff big time.
i really like rusty's OTK steering set up. talk about beefy. wow.
i think you can't go wrong with rusty's. he wheels only xj's so i think he knows them.
call him or talk to his son, Austin. great people to deal with and will warranty without a hassle. they treat you like a friend right from the start.
i think rough country is just that. a rough ride in the country. there's much better out there... i know they're cheap, but you get what you pay for.

i've had bad past experiences with Rusty himself, and his products. i had their 4.5in lift leaf pack in my truck and a leaf broke on the driver side pack. it took 2.5 months to get a replacement and about 12 phone calls.

Oh ok. I have not found the reason for others dislike either. Like TrekkerJMM said "parts is parts". I am still looking and if I find out I'll let you know.

neither does rubicon express. with that said, i've had 4 bad leaf springs from my rubicon express kit, and they only warrantied 2 (one set).
they didn't even come close to replacing the broken leaf packs. so if rusty did, even taking him a long time. that's customer service imo.
when i replace my replacement set, i'll buy them from rusty.
