Default Lift Installed!

Well, I got the 2" RE BB yesterday and immediately went to work. Well I started with the back..just because. I had the camera to take pictures as I went..but yet that didn't happen. When you are doing something by yourself like this once you start, you just don't want to take the time to stop and snap a picture. So after working all day yesterday and making about three trips to the auto parts store, I quit with the rear done. I got up this morning and started on the front. WOO those Coil Springs SUCK! The strut spring compressors are a PITA! Well after working on it half of the day today..I am proud to say that I am DONE! I have never really done much as far as working on a vehicle, I have to say it does feel nice doing it myself and not spending that money on someone else. I will say I am in pretty good shape but dang..my butt and back sure hurt like hell! Well here is a picture of the finished project.
Oh yea and my TECH Question: Do I need to get an alignment when just doing a 2" BB and or do I need to make any other steering adjustments? Everything feels the same as before as far as the steering wheel still being straight and what not, but I wasn't sure if this was something recommended.
I will get some more pictures later when I recover.

i would get an alignment. anytime you completely disconnect the front axle or steering components i think you should get one. the axle could have moved a little bit when you were putting it back in. when i installed my lift i thought everything felt the same too, but found out that my tires were so far off that the computer couldn't read the sensor on the rear wheels.

align it. when lifting a solid axled vehicle with inverted y steering your toe in becomes excessive
