I have an 89 Cherokee, and a while back, I was out doing what someone with an 89 Cherokee is want to do, play in the hills. Well, gravity was cruel that day, and my driving was dull, thus, over the Mighty Jeep went. Somehow, during the roll, the lift gate popped open, and now is askew. I can't tell where the issue is, but even though I built a rack for the top, I enjoy using my lift gate. After taking it to a body shop, and politely being told to go f*** myself, I'm wanting to do the repair myself. This is no show jeep, and one of the reasons I love it is it has scars, dents, and flat black finish. The roof seems amazingly square, so again, I cant figure out why the thing is towards the drivers side a solid 2 inches and therefor will not close. HELP!

Either the hinges are bent or the body is bent or both, since the fiberglass hatch doesn't bend. Post some pics for the best answers.
