I was wondering if it is possible to change the color of the instrument panel on a 2000 Jeep Cherokee XJ Classic?

I saw this on another Jeep forum and thought it was pretty neat.

Now the question I have is will this work for this type of instrument cluster? Or will it have different types in?

I have inspected the door and driver side chair controls and it has two 3MM low wattage green LEDs. I plan on replacing them each with two 3MM Blue LEDs and diffusing them (Dulling) their brightness with a little sand paper.

Any thoughts or suggestions that I should know about? I know it looks like alot of work (Or a little to me at least) but I think it would look awesome! And finally will these bulbs work on my instrument cluster as replacements?

Some software on the forums need more than 3 letters to do a proper search, try adding light, bulb, dash etc for better results.

What about completely after market ones? Kinda like what those "street ricer" people have?

Also how would a cherokee dash cluster run, ball park from a junkyard?
