Default leaking really bad

ok i have an xj classic so it has the extra storage compartment/compass/map lights mounted in a concole in the interor roof...i went to the brushless car wash the other day and i noticed that it was leaking really bad from multiple points...all four sets of overhead map lights (front and back) were leaking at a constant stream, the garage doors remote compartment was leaking, and all around the console was leaking...after leaving the carwash, i hit my brakes and alot of water ran down my wnidsheild on the linside of my xj from under my headliner...has anyone had this problem and how could i fix it?

Do you have a factory roof rack? Could be missing a fastener leaving a gaping hole for water intrusion. Have you mounted a CB antenna, off road lights or anything else to your roof? Any hole even of the tiniest size will let gobbs of water in, bro. You need to closely inspect the entire top of your XJ. Bet you find something. RTV sealant is a beautiful thing to fix problems like this.

Pull down the headliner and water test it with a hose.
