Default Leaking oil.

So after 2 grand of work put into the engine,
its now pissing oil like an excited puppy.
i get smoke from the hood, its just burning oil. and a hell of a lot of exhaust smoke.
however i keep checking my oil, seems fine, oil gauge is fine.
and now when i come to a complete stop at a stop sign, and press on the gas itll rev up like its in neutral before finally gripping.
Transmission or engine?
Place your bets before i go outside in a few minutes and pop the hood.

suppose i should put some info in.
91 XJ 2 door sport h/o. 170,000 miles, oil change at 169,000 and change.
automatic

All the symptoms would point me to a front trans seal leak, I'd check the trans fluid.

it is tranny fluid, i cant tell where its coming from, or why it would be spitting onto my engine.

I'm gonna go with this one.

Or any holes or slices. ALOT of fluid will pour out of these lines if they have a hole or get disconnected. Don't ask me how I know that!
